Well, old friend, I am back again. Hopefully this time for good.
With a lot of life changes happening soon, I figure what better way to keep everyone updated.
As I am writing this, I sit anxiously waiting on a call that could forever change my life. I am constantly checking my phone in hopes of a decision. I applied for a temporary summer job in Alaska, had an interview on Monday, and should be receiving a call today (Friday) about whether or not I was selected. This whole week has been filled with excitement, fear, anticipation and only a smidgen of patience.
I keep asking God to take me where he wants to use me. While I know that we don’t often get to chose where that is, I secretly hope it’s Alaska for the summer.
This most definitely would be a hard transition for me even though it is exciting to see some new views. I was invited to two weddings this summer and have another one in September that I would potentially miss a bachelorette part for if I move 3,000+ miles away.
I’ll update more later, but have to go complete an “on your own” workout for the rowing team.
